HMEP Asset Management E-Learning

HMEP is the Highways Maintenance Efficiency Programme, which exists to support the sector on its journey to transform highway services.

HMEP Asset Management E-Learning Toolkit has been based on the contents of the HMEP Highway Infrastructure Asset Management Guidance. The Guidance helps all those delivering highway services, including senior decision makers, asset managers, service providers and practitioners, to embed asset management principles in their organisations and make the case for funding highway maintenance.

This training material, endorsed by the Chartered Institution of Highways & Transportation (CIHT) is available to access online freely.

My Role

I was responsible for working with the subject experts in Atkins and our in-house design team to develop a SCORM compliant e-learning toolkit which is highly interactive and easy to use. The course modules were developed using Adobe Flash and a custom Learning Management System was developed using Moodle for user management and progress tracking.
